One of the Old lady that works there was very rude, unprofessional and not helpful at all. I waited 3 weeks for an appointment and when I got there I met up with for 2 minutes and was filled with her smart mouth. Pretended she was confused with everything and asked me if "that's all?" and sent me my way home. Not very helpful.
My husband and I were dreading our appt to the IRS in Hampton today just to verify our identification to be able to get our refund back. Someone had tried to claim it but was stopped by the IRS (thank you for that also). We were early and we were seen in no time at all by Joann R. She was great and could not have been any more pleasant and informative to us. I am so grateful . I would give 5 stars if the security guard would have been just a little friendly.
It is wonder that this agency functions at all.
The lady at the front desk was helpful. Had the website worked I would not have ever need to be there.
I have an understanding for safety. But this is just over the top.
Women at front desk was extremely unhelpful and rude. When asked the location of where to turn in my forms she just told me it was somewhere at Hampton University. I drove around and had to go back to the irs for multiple days for no reason, because I WAS SUPPOSE TO TURN THEM INTO THE IRS. She didn't take the time to actually look at what i was trying to turn in.
This location was scheduled to open at 8:30am. Myself and others stood in line outside and we were greeted at 8:45 to let us know they would eventually be opening when security officers arrived (they were late). We were forced to leave all electronics in the car and asked to line up and enter one adult at a time when asked. Upon entering, we were wanded with a metal detector for weapons.
