I will NEVER step foot inside another one of your stores. I went in the Hampton store 2 weeks ago looking for some furniture. After looking at a particular bedroom set, the saleswoman gives me a price. I told her I didn't like the price, she rolled her eyes and tells me thanks for coming in. That didn't deter me though, I kept looking until I settled on something. After 2 hours of complete unprofessional service with the saleswoman at the register she finally had me squared away with a part of my order. I paid in cash. I woke up the next day wondering if I could find a better deal, after all I was told I had 48 hours to cancel and receive a full refund. I find a better deal and better quality furniture that wasn't constructed of particle board. I go to the store for my refund and I'm told it needed to be approved by a manager. Well after a week, I start inquiring about the refund from numerous different employees and extensions throughout their phone system. Complete runaround! Now today, almost 2 full weeks since I cancelled I start to call again. Same thing, only this time I was given the number to the district manager. I called him and he tells me that he had to speak with me before giving a refund to make sure I was tested treated properly. Now he says he can get my refund processed and will call me back with a timeframe for my refund. I'm talking thousands of dollars here! This refund should of been processed immediately once I requested it, not 2 weeks later!! In the end you lost a customer that has shopped there on and off for years. I will go elsewhere for now on and whoever is reading this would be wise to do the same.
I've visited this location 3 times. The first time, we had a "pushy" sales lady name Shayla (spelling) who tried to sell us anything. The second time we had some lady follow us around the whole store even though we told her we didn't need help. This past Friday, we visited for the 3rd and final time and were greeted by Shelly. Shelly was AMAZING. She was far from pushy. We told her our needs and she matched us up with great quality furniture that could withstand our toddler. We ended up getting a great deal on a couch, dining room table and a vase. My husband and I loved her so much that we had to tell her manager about our experience. We were in the store for about 2 hours (we're pretty indecisive) and Shelly made it feel like 5 minutes. She even gave us her personal number in case we have any problems. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because our furniture doesn't get delivered until 4 days after we move into our new room place which is a little disappointing. Do yourself a favor and ask for Shelly the next time you visit this location, you won't be disappointed.
Grand furniture is horrible. Overpriced, low quality furniture!! Recently did a claim on my mattress which is still under warranty but it collapsed on one side bcuz the frame doesn't support it properly. But there is a very small stain on the mattress that is barely visible so the warranty won't cover it. Then I have insurance but it only covers stains, punctures and broken box springs. So basically I'm stuck with a mattress that's sinking on one side.I will have to pay for a new mattress out of pocket if I want a replacement. Smh!!! I will never buy from grand furniture ever again!!!
Sales personel are great, delivery people were also nice, however i paid for assembly yet i am here building my bed with a screwdriver..sigh.
With economy changes grandfurniture was there to help thank you.
