Ashton Wray is the absolute best attorney in the hampton roads!!!! I was facing a 5 year jail sentence and got off with simple restitution, no probation, no jail, nothing. And as long as my restitution is paid in a year, my felony will be reduced to a misdemeanor! He knows his stuff and he will fight for you til the end!!!! I reccomend him to EVERYONE!!!!!!! What ever you do, dont hire Jeffrey Ambrose. He was assigned to my son as a court appointed attorney for a felony charge. In the two months that he was my son's attorney, he spoke with him ONCE. He never returned calls, nor attempted to reach out to my son. I had to hire a different attorney just to get a bond hearing. On the DAY OF the hearing, my son went to court only to find the doors locked, and for him to be told that Mr. Ambrose withdrew himself from the case. Again, not once did he EVER reach out to my son. Honestly, I don't even know how this man is still employed.
This man and his office from day one has been nothing short of a blessing to me. In going through a divorce that was nothing short of a nightmare, my ex set me up with two felony child neglect charges. Her father in law was a Sargent in the Newport News police department who did a good job of making me look guilty of a crime I did not commit.
