This is a great stop for hard-core museum goers, especially if you are into military history. It is not toddler friendly (bring a stroller) and doesn't have much for exciting entertainment. Lots of information and facts. Great for education purposes.

My family loves it here. There is a lot of history inside and outside of the museum. Admission is free so you can't go wrong.

Gem of a museum with knowledgeable staff and great docents. Check out the Contraband Decision exhibit to learn about an important piece of American history that happened right at Fort Monroe.

Nice little museum and has such interesting structure. Very enjoyable!

Such an interesting place. Great place to take the family for the entire day.
