Called over an hour and a half ahead of the time I wanted picked up....its now 30 minutes past my pick up time...had to cancel...and to top it off their driver called Me to confirm I still needed the cab and hung up on me. Seriously don't know how they stay in business.
Orange cabs is a great company to work for because you got the chance to go many places all over town and outer town serving the seven cities friendly dispatcher and great driver's like myself.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would I got a ride 30 miles and it ended up being almost $90. It says the fare is 30 cents a mile on the cab but when I called the company they say it’s 30 cents an eighth of a mile. The driver was rude af, when I asked him about the pricing his response was “well what do you want me to do”. So if you have a choice don’t use this company just call Uber and save yourself some money and hassle.
I would call this place garbage but that wpuld be an insult to actual garbage. I placed a reservation the day earlier for a 4:30 am pickup. They called to confirm this appointment, after 2 separate emails doing the same, at 10pm the night before. On the day of the appointment I had to call 3 times for information on the cab's whereabouts and after 35 mins I cancelled and called an Uber.
Great company overall. Very intelligent people and well respected. They will never let you down . The best company in the Hampton roads area .
I urge you not to use this company. I disregarded the bad comments because I didn't think anyone would be available to Uber that early but trust me there are people awake. Use these people as a last resort and expect them to be late and charge way too much.
