Although we arrived just before they closed (9:20). Sandy and her staff were very appreciative and welcoming of our business. All of our dishes were excellently prepared, you could taste the love. Andy did a superb job as sushi chef. This business has been family owned and operated for over twenty years. Seeing the display of numbered chopstick boxes from their regulars was quite the testimate to the quality of this establishment. Would highly recommend

Having lived in Japan, I can honestly say this is a great little restaurant. Great food and great service. My kids love coming here and the staff makes you feel like family.
Writing my first review because how bad this place is. If u want to pay 4star pricing for 2star sushi go ahead. Green tea tasted old and wasn’t hot. Server seemed uninterested in her job. Only recommended wonderful and yuki Hana in the Hampton/Yorktown area
If I could give them no stars I would. They only had 1 person serving the customers and she clearly couldn’t handle it. I order a salmon roll and a tuna roll. I receive my sushi rolls and they looked great. I ate 1 piece of sushi and before I could get to the second one I saw that there was a hair suck to the rice. When the waitress walk by I said excuse me and she looked at me from across the room as if she wanted me to yell at her to tell her what was wrong. I asked her to please come to the table. When she came to the table I showed her the hair on my sushi roll and with her bare hands she grabbed the roll off of my plate. I was in shock because she put her bare hand on my plate with the rest of my food. She said she would make me another roll but left the plate that the hair and her bare hand was in. After a few minutes my friend realized that there was a small hair on her plate as well. When we told her about it she looked at both of our heads as if it was our hair, but we both have curly brown hair. It was clearly not ours. Prior to bringing the bill she told me that she was going to charge me for the roll that had no hair in it even though they were all on he same plate and she had picked up a piece of sushi with her bare hand off of that plate. I refused the pay for it so she brought my bill for my appetizer which was less than $10. She then very rudely told me that I could not pay less than $10 with a card even though there was no sign up stating that. I asked her to just charge me $10 so that I could get out of there. When she came back with the checks she stated that the hair issue had never happened before, but she never apologized. I will NEVER be back not because of the hair issue because I understand things happen, but because of the unprofessionalism and rude treatment that was displayed.
