Wonderful hotel with beautiful views of the marina. The staff is very kind and truly caring - we received a fantastic welcome from Cornethia. Enjoyed great cocktails and conversation with Alex, the fabulous barkeeper. The rooms are very clean and are tastefully decorated in nautical style. We loved the walk-in shower. Parking is easy, garage right next to the hotel. The hotel is also just a few steps away from the Virginia Air and Space Center (NASA) - which, depending on your room, you are also able to see.
Very nice restaurant. Food was good the service was exceptionally wonderful. Prices were moderately inexpensive. Would come back at night to listen to the live music
This hotel was great! It was like being in a state room on a ship. Incredible view of the water. The staff was excellent, very courteous and quick to respond to our needs. The food from the hotel restaurant was delicious. We stayed an extra night just because we were having such a great time. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying again soon.
Friendly helpful service. A bit run down. Good for the price. More specifically the AC in my room didn't work, but I was too lazy to ask them to fix it so half of that is on me. The breakfast buffet is not worth the price. The location is within walking distance of a few decent restaurants and Brewery, but there isn't much else going on.
The Crowne Plaza here goes a step above most in the area for service. The full restaurant and bar in the hotel are put to good use and help contribute to the hotels appeal. There are parts of this building that show their age though: stains on the carpets, strong odors in the parking garage, and some quick fixes on repairs all come to mind. While it's not perfect the location is great, the staff is friendly, and the rooms feel very comfortable.
